My paintings are based on photographs I have taken during my travels

To Mexico, Italy, the Southwest, and also scenes and still-lifes from

my home. I am interested in the beauty of the textures, shadows

and patterns produced by everyday objects and places

and the emotions evoked in me by  people found in unguarded moments.

I hope  my paintings help you appreciate the beauty that surrounds us.
